Optimo project – Our Year 7 students are off to Sierra Nevada
This week, our Year 7 students are away on a trip to Sierra Nevada as part of the Optimo project.
Although, in previous years the chosen destination has been Candanchú, CIT has had to adapt to the current situation, without sacrificing the quality and educational commitment of the activities organised.
The purpose of the Optimo is to integrate sport as an essential complement to education. Sports practice is not only a physical effort, it is also an emotional, social and cognitive challenge.
That is why it is so important for us to offer our students this experience, a trip where they also develop social skills by sharing a week with their classmates and teachers.
We can’t wait to see all the pictures and comments on the forum and see how they are enjoying themselves!
